Brazil vs. France
On March 26, 2026, Gillette Stadium, about 40 minutes south of Boston, had it's first practice go to prepare for the major world soccer matches of summer 2026. For the big games the stadium will be rebranded to Boston Stadium.
The stadium wasn't the only thing transformed ahead of the game. Some of our buses were wrapped with designs specifically for the teams from Brasil and France they were picking up.

Managing the movement of two elite national squads, their coaching staffs, and operational delegations across Greater Boston required precision, professionalism, and the right partner on the ground and we were happy to be hired to help with the transportation needs.
"When you're responsible for moving players who perform in front of millions of people, there is no margin for error. Every transfer, every timeline, every detail matters." - George Daou, owner of Boston Common Coach.
Coordinating Two Delegations Across a Major Metro
The logistical footprint for an event of this scale is enormous. Both squads arrived at separate airports and were transported to their respective team hotels in the Boston area, met by many excitement fans. Boston Common Coach provided dedicated, full-size luxury motorcoaches for each delegation, ensuring all transportation needs were met. The police escort for teams was an added perk for navigating major traffic related to the event.
The Route to and from the Stadium
Match day logistics centered on carefully timed departures from each team hotel. Our drivers followed pre-coordinated routes along I-95 South and Route 1, working in close communication with police escort units. Both teams arrived through the secure, dedicated team entrance at Gillette Stadium with zero delays. Post-match, the turnaround was equally smooth.
Why Professional Team Transport Demands Dedicated Charter
International sports delegations travel with specific requirements that go far beyond simply getting from Point A to Point B. Options to wrap vehicles for special events, secure boarding areas, luggage handling for team gear, on-board WiFi, climate control, and professionally trained drivers who understand the need for confidentiality and discretion, these are the stakes for events at this level. Boston Common Coach checked every box.
"We knew the stakes here and were ready to embrace the excitement and execute the various transportation plans seamlessly." - John, Boston Common Coach driver
A Proud Moment for Boston-Area Transportation
The Brazil vs. France match at Gillette Stadium wasn't just a sporting even, it was a dress rehearsal for the even larger stage ahead: the 2026 world soccer games coming to Boston, with multiple matches also scheduled across the United States. For our team, being selected to manage local transportation for both national squads was an honor for this particular match. It was a responsibility we took seriously from the first planning discussion to the final post-match departure.
We are grateful to the event management company for the trust placed in Boston Common Coach for this event. We look forward to pivoting and providing soccer fans with dedicated game day transportation from Boston, Peabody, and more locations that will be announced soon. We offer unique ridesharing experiences, that will include tailgating options from several locations.
Boston Common Coach is independent of and not affiliated with the event venue, event organizer, FIFA, or the teams.
